As it currently stands integration with a Service desk such as Netcool is problematic as if the alert is closed in the service desk when the writeback happens to SCOM the chain breaks as the alert cannot always be closed in SCOM. Feature below: If you close an alert generated by a monitor (from the Operations Console Active alerts” view) which is in a unhealthy state then the following message will be displayed and the alert will not be closed: Alert(s) in the current selection cannot be closed as the monitor(s) which generated these alerts are still unhealthy. For more details on the alerts which could not be closed, view the Alert Closure Failure” dashboard in the Operations Manager Web Console” We need to be able to disable the feature preventing alerts from being closed if the monitor is in an unhealthy state. Please reach out to the below email address with more details — systemcenterfeedback@microsoft.com Appreciate your feedback. A Maintenance schedules schedule created by an operator should adhere to scoping rules When an operator creates a maintenance schedules schedule this is only visible to that person. As a result this can also only be changed by that person. Only when an administrator creates a schedule this is visible to other administrators. It would be good that when an operator creates a schedule this is visible by members of his user role or even better it adheres the scoping structure. This would allow colleagues of the same team to modify schedules. 20 votes Vote Vote Vote Vote Sign in prestine Your name Your email address (thinking…) Password Sign in with: Facebook Google Forgot password? MP Simulator (32bit) won’t work when run on a 64bit OS with a 64bit SCOM agent installed. In the past Microsoft had made available versions for both architectures. 39 votes Vote Vote Vote Vote Sign in prestine Your name Your email address (thinking…) Password Sign in with: Facebook Google Forgot password? Almost a quarter of our servers are still 2008 R2, and this is a huge hang up for us in moving up. Since these are more legacy systems, most are also unable to be updated. 82 votes Vote Vote Vote Vote Sign in prestine Your name Your email address (thinking…) Password Sign in with: Facebook Google Forgot password?
